Sponsor An Acre, Make A Lasting Impact

Growing Hope Globally owns a 17.5 acre parcel of land in Strawberry Point, IA. Local individuals, churches, and agribusinesses farm the land as part of the Seeds for Hope Growing Project. The field is rotated between Corn (costs $800/acre) and Soybeans (costs $650/acre). Corn is planned for the 2026 growing season. Will you support their local efforts by sponsoring the costs to farm an acre? 

How it works: 
1. You sponsor an acre. $800 covers the cost of seeds, fertilizer, fungicides and labor to grow corn on one acre.  Is that more or less than you can give? We encourage giving partial - or multiple - acres too!
2. Local farmers plant, tend, harvest and sell the crops.  
3. The proceeds from the sale of the crop are donated to Growing Hope Globally to support agricultural development programs around the world, helping farmers and their communities find lasting solutions to hunger.
